So many cool planes.. Its a shame that slowed down so much..

I only bought one OMP plane.. but they sure had a lot of cool ones out at my field, and some of the other companies that were building those kits had some nice ones as well.

I wish a 40 sized wood profile would survive what my foamie will. I still make a few mistakes flying low and the foam saves me at least once a day ! Great fun these planes..

I saw a couple old school flatties at the swap meet in Kc on the 7th of January...

They are still out there. I recently saw a big profile plane with a 25cc gas engine on it.

I once enlarged some OMP plans, and scratch built a yak for a gas 25cc engine...Built the plane.. took it to the field, and it went in on the second flight.. I lost all radio.. I was so disgusted. As I tore it down I found out the BRAND NEW RECEIVER PACK was so poorly soldered on one wire..that when it broke off, the solder was only connected in an area about the diameter of a push pin needle. I was so sick....

It was like I had been sabotaged by an enemy.. It was a tough one to take.
